Founded in 2003, Huamei Thread Co., Ltd. is a Sino-American joint venture invested by Ningbo Veken Elite Group Co., Ltd. and American & Efird International B.V. At present we are one of the largest sewing thread manufacturers in China and even in Asia. Ningbo Veken Elite Group Co., Ltd., located in Ningbo city of Zhejiang Province, is publicly traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600152). American & Efird International B.V., a subsidiary of Rudclick Corporation (NYSE: RDK), is located in Mt. Holly, North Carolina, USA. Founded in 1891, it has a history of 112 years.

With a total investment amount of USD25,566,500, the strategic joint venture, Huamei Thread Co., Ltd. is located in Ningbo city of Zhejiang Province. With a staff team of over 1,000, our company has seven departments and three affiliated plants, namely the cotton mill, the thread plant and the embroidery thread plant. We possess advanced equipment for spinning, twisting, dyeing and finishing. Our main products include polyester sewing thread, rayon embroidery thread, 100% cotton glossed or mercerized yarn, and cotton/polyester and polyester/polyester core thread. Our annual production capacity is nearly 10,000 metric tons of polyester sewing thread and 1,000 metric tons of rayon embroidery thread. Our products are exported to such countries and regions as America, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Africa, Latin America, East Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
